Hawkins Cookers Limited has been in business since 1959. Today, the company operates two offices and three factories, employing around 700 people. It is the market leader for pressure cookers in India and has been exporting since 1974 to countries across all six continents.

Hawkins has sold over 105 million pressure cookers and cookware worldwide. All Hawkins pressure cookers are listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), USA—an independent global organization that tests products for public safety. Since February 1, 2021, the Government of India has mandated that all pressure cookers manufactured and sold in India must be registered with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), commonly known as ISI. Accordingly, all pressure cookers we manufacture are BIS-certified and carry the ISI stamp.
