To support Chinese home appliance and consumer electronics enterprises in expanding markets, securing orders, and building brand awareness in the Middle East, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) will host the 2nd Middle East Consumer Electronics Show (MECES) from November 26 to 28, 2025, at the Dubai Festival Arena in the United Arab Emirates.
This year's exhibition will present cutting-edge, representative Chinese technologies and products in the home appliance and consumer electronics sectors. MECES 2025 will feature six major exhibition areas:
Smart Home Appliances
Kitchen Appliances & Kitchenware
Personal Care Small Appliances
Audio-Visual Equipment
Communication & Connectivity Devices
Cross-border E-commerce
Nearly 300 top-tier Chinese companies, including Haier, Hisense, Midea, Gree, and others, will participate and showcase their latest innovations and technologies. The high-end positioning of the event is set to be one of its key highlights.
Under the guidance of the CCCME, enterprises from Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangsu, Shenzhen, Ningbo and other provinces and cities will form regional alliances and “go global” together — another unique feature of this year’s event. This collaboration aims to provide a professional platform for economic and trade exchange between Chinese provinces and Middle Eastern countries, enabling collective responses to the complex and ever-changing global trade landscape, and jointly exploring new development opportunities.

The 2024 inaugural MECES covered nearly 12,000 square meters, hosting nearly 200 companies from 33 cities across China. Exhibited products primarily included household appliances and consumer electronics. Major Chinese brands such as Hisense, Midea, Huawei, Gree, Vanward, Xinbao, Chigo, Elecpro, Aucma, and Homa showcased their latest technologies and products, with a strong emphasis on green and smart solutions.
The event attracted nearly 6,000 registered professional buyers and visitors from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other countries. The Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry even organized a dedicated procurement delegation to the show, helping Chinese enterprises gain entry into the Saudi market.

On the first day, the event hosted the Opening Ceremony of MECES and the Middle East Consumer Electronics Development Forum, attended by senior Chinese and Arab officials and corporate representatives. Companies such as Anker and GFK presented overviews of technology investment policies and key development areas in Middle Eastern countries, and shared insights into consumer preferences in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Chinese brands including China Electric Institute, ZTE, Hisense, and Gree gave keynote speeches introducing their latest technologies and products. The Saudi YouPin International Sales Platform also shared practical solutions for Chinese enterprises entering the Saudi market, addressing challenges such as certification and distribution channels.
During the event, three rounds of one-on-one business matchmaking sessions were held, resulting in over 800 meetings between 177 Chinese companies and 149 international buyers. The sessions received positive feedback, with several cooperation intentions reached.
MECES not only provided a robust platform for dialogue and collaboration but also laid a solid foundation for elevating China-Arab trade cooperation in the home appliance and electronics sectors to new heights.
